Meet Rob
Rob is a proud, lifelong resident of Beaver County.
He was born in Ambridge, PA, just down the street from where he lives today and where his family has called home for nearly 120 years.
Rob’s been involved with his community since he was a student at Ambridge Area High School, working as an on-air sports-coverage personality. He later earned an associate’s degree from the Community College of Beaver County and a bachelor’s degree from Point Park University, where he also worked as a program director at WMBA Radio.
After college, Rob worked as a state Senate staff member for 14 years before serving as the mayor of his hometown of Ambridge.
Since he was elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 2008, Rob has stood up for Beaver County and championed what his community values most: a strong economy, an educational system that prepares its children for bright futures, quality healthcare that’s always accessible, and well-funded infrastructure to make it all happen.
In the last seven years alone, Rob has delivered over $125 million to Beaver County, because he recognizes the power of investing directly in our local communities. In the last six months alone, he’s delivered over $17 million in funding for infrastructure improvements, senior citizen resources, emergency services upgrades, educational services, historical preservation, career development initiatives, and much more.
Rob is as much of a leader in Harrisburg as he is at home in Beaver County. His peers in the House Democratic Caucus recently elected him Chair, and he’s used his seat at the table to fight for Beaver County with Democrats and Republicans alike. When it comes to meeting the needs of our local communities, Rob doesn’t care about partisan politics — he cares about getting the job done.
Rob has spent his whole life in Beaver County for a reason: because it’s a safe, happy, and affordable place to live and raise a family. As his hometown’s state representative, he’s showing up every day to keep it that way.
