My Position on Important Issues
Economic Development: Rob’s experience working on projects in the region including the Ambridge
Brownfields Project, Center Township Retail Corridor and Pennsylvania Bio Diesel has created
and retained jobs. Sound economic development equals progress which increases the tax base
and benefits all residents.
Education: Rob believes the state must work to fund education at a higher percentage. This
must be done to increase a level playing field for all of our school districts while at the same time
getting our children an education to compete in a global economy.
Healthcare: Rob will continue the fight to provide affordable health care for all
Pennsylvanians.
Infrastructure: Rob’s experience working with local governments to identify funding sources to help
with capital projects has reduced the burden on tax payers while rebuilding infrastructure.
Main Street PA: Rob has worked with the Rivertown Partnership, a unique collection of the downtown
communities in Beaver County who support the development of our business districts. This program is one
of a kind in Pennsylvania. The Rivertown Partnership is an ideal model for other smaller counties which
would foster collaboration and an increased funding pool for our Main Streets.
Property Taxes: The State has made strides in tax-reform in recent history and Rob will continue to
work towards a fair and equitable reform for all homeowners while working towards providing our youth with
the best possible education.
Quality of Life: Rob has worked with many municipalities and other community groups that have produced
upgrades and the building of parks, walking trails and other recreation amenities.
