Experience Matters in Harrisburg

I am the only candidate that has the experience in local and state government to keep our region moving forward. I have served you as a State Senate Field Office Representative in the 47th District for 13 years. My experience with, and knowledge of, the legislative process make me uniquely qualified to serve you in the 16th Legislative district.

I have listened to the people of Southwestern Pennsylvania, and have an acute awareness of our needs. My work ethic and ability to get people together to work for common goals have always been among my strongest assets.

I served as the Mayor of Ambridge in 2003-04. I was elected to the Democratic State Committee, to represent Beaver County in our statewide party. I served on the Planning Commission and sat on the Board of Directors of the Redevelopment Corporation as the Chairman of the Residential Committee. I was also appointed a member of the joint comprehensive plan known as SHALE, which includes South Heights, Harmony Township, Ambridge, Leetsdale, and Economy. I believe in a regional approach to government and plan to continue this relationship with the communities involved. I also serve as a member of the Beaver County Bridge Committee, which oversees the rehabilitation and continued maintenance to all county bridges.

I am confident that with my 13 plus years of experience in local and state government that I am the best candidate to represent our district. I will put to good use the relationships I have formed over the years with organized labor, the business community, and local leaders to continue to build South-western Pennsylvania. I will work hand in hand with all of you to make our district and our region a great success.
